In 2020, as a result of Covid-19, Vietnam implemented social distancing measures and experienced scarcity in the food supply. These circumstances caused many small families to face a “crisis” in providing nutritious and varied meals for young children. Witnessing this need, the Kyo Dashi founder introduced this Japanese-style baby food in Vietnam.

With the opportunity to expand the brand, Kyo Dashi decided to enhance its brand identity to assert its reputation in the baby food market. Therefore, TWS conceptualized a professional brand identity that showcases the Japanese-style baby food theme and suits the target audience.

Modern, bright, and minimalistic

The logo, inspired by clean and organic ingredients, showcases a bowl of porridge – the brand’s “firstborn” – adorned with stylized leaves and spoons.

This design yields a vibrant, attention-grabbing, and easily recognizable logo. Employing a rounded font, characteristic colors of vegetables (green), root crops (orange), and Japan (dark green), it embodies a contemporary, luminous, and minimalist essence of Japan.

Additionally, we opt for expansive layouts and warm pastel tones as the primary theme for our product and model photography, perfectly suited for a variety of advertising platforms, thereby setting ourselves apart in the market. Continuously, we innovate and refine numerous product concepts for Kyo Dashi, spanning from porridge variants, food assortments, cereal powders, nutritious cooking oils, to shredded meat options.

Furthermore, we extend our creativity to include Point of Sale Materials (POSM) publications to bolster promotional and franchise endeavors, encompassing store signage, menus, flyers, vouchers, franchise manuals, and digital communication guides…

Regarding marketing strategies, TWS has consulted and implemented the design, content creation for communication publications on social media and other media such as newspapers, radio and television. These efforts aim to resonate with the target demographic, specifically parents of babies, by adopting a friendly, approachable, and trustworthy tone. Additionally, we have proactively developed a professional and inviting website to provide valuable information and ensure a seamless transactional experience for customers.

After 3 years, the official fanpage of the brand has reached 32k likes and 32k follows. The website is also highly rated by customers for its design and user experience.

The 2nd largest nutritional porridge brand in Vietnam

Over the past 3 years, we have produced hundreds of marketing publications for Kyo Dashi, designed and created content for dozens of offers and promotions, and provided consulting and packaging design for nearly 100 products of various types. It’s been an honor to accompany the brand in expanding to nearly 30 branches across the country, securing the second largest brand coverage in the Vietnamese nutritious porridge segment, second only to a competitor who has nearly 20 years of development in this field.
