“Hí Hửng” – 2026 Lunar New Year Gift Set

Through a moodboard, TWS captures the vibrant spirit of the year of the horse, where visual fragments come together to form a vivid and “hí hửng” identity.

“Hí hửng” is a distinctly Vietnamese state of mind. It is not just present joy, but a sense of eager anticipation for the beautiful things unfolding ahead.

With this spirit, TWS chose “hí hửng” as the inspiration for this year’s Tet gift set. For us, Tet is more than a moment of giving and receiving; it is a time for each individual to pack their bags, carry what is essential, and start a new journey in their own way.

This spirit aligns perfectly with the imagery of thuận “bờm” xuôi “vó” (mane in flow, strides that go). No force, no rush. For TWS, it is how we send a mindset for new beginnings: cheerful, excited, and the journey ahead will naturally find its flow.

Packaging 

Inspired by this “hí hửng” feeling, the packaging is designed as an explorer’s kit for the new year, packing the excitement of Tet to accompany the recipient on the long road ahead.

From the exterior to the finest interior details, every material is intentionally arranged to balance function and aesthetics, ensuring durability and a refined experience.

The master box features Japanese kraft paper mounted on rigid chipboard, creating a sturdy, premium yet rustic feel. Orange foil-stamped lines across the surface add vibrant accents, evoking movement and the colors of spring spreading across the design.

Accompanying the set is a tote bag made from thick, carefully selected fabric for everyday durability. Designed with both a strap and a zipper for added convenience, the bag becomes a practical companion for daily use. Its PET-printed surface keeps the colors bright and sharp over time.

With this level of attention to detail, the gift set unfolds like a small journey. From the tote bag, notebook, and coasters to the keychain, stickers, red envelopes, and greeting cards – each item carries a simple message: to remember, cherish, and spread joy in everyday moments.

The calendar is designed to live fully within your home or workspace, featuring a unique black shimmer base and thick paper that feels substantial and pleasant to the touch. Subtle foil-stamped lines are integrated throughout, creating visual highlights and guiding the rhythm of each page.

Beyond its function of tracking dates, each page is a small “stopover”, reminding the viewer of the simple joys on their long-distance journey.

Closing the final pages, TWS reveals a small surprise through an artwork that fully embodies the spirit of the gift set. This is our cheer for the journey behind and the inspiration for the start ahead – where familiar joys continue to write our story.
