David Rocco – the host of the culinary program David Rocco’s Dolce Vita broadcasted in over 150 countries decided to choose Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81 as the next destination for a super-luxurious dinner party, named “Dolce Vita in the Clouds”, combining Vietnamese and Italian cuisine. The challenge facing TWS is to demonstrate that Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81 – a NEW, dynamic icon of Vietnam – meets the most stringent international standards.
David Rocco: A Culinary Icon
David Rocco is a world-renowned Canadian chef who broke cultural barriers by connecting people through their love for food. His cooking show, “David Rocco’s Dolce Vita,” garners millions of viewers daily across 150 countries. Consequently, for his series “Dolce Southeast Asia,” Rocco chose Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81, often referred to as the “Hotel in the sky,” as his destination.
Dolce Vita in the Clouds – The Luxurious Dinner Party
Working alongside the executive chefs of Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81, Rocco designed a luxurious dinner party named “Dolce Vita in the Clouds.” This exclusive culinary journey, catering to only 40 VIP guests, combined Vietnamese and Italian cuisine. In line with this concept, with the aim of using food as a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Italy, the iconic Vietnamese dish, Pho, would be reinvented in David Rocco’s style with the assistance of “Pho artisan” Nguyen Trong Thin, the creator of the famous Pho Thin brand.
Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81 caught the attention of the famous chef David Rocco through his popular TV show, David Rocco’s Dolce Vita, just one month after opening. David Rocco’s decision to choose Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81 for important scenes in two episodes about Vietnam shows the potential for Vietnam’s development in the world culinary tourism map.
The challenge for TWS is to demonstrate that Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81 meets strict international standards with the best services, luxurious space, and exquisite dishes. This highlights Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81’s role as a dynamic new symbol of Vietnam’s beauty.
To highlight the doubling of both the event and the venue’s level, TWS coordinated with the hotel’s management and media team to hold a private press conference between nearly 20 leading Vietnamese press units and David Rocco. Additionally, they also organized the “Dolce Vita in the Clouds” event, with the participation of the elite society of Saigon, including entrepreneurs, politicians, ambassadors, consuls, and artists. As a result, the event received coverage from over 100 national and international newspapers, contributing to the promotion of Vietnamese cuisine worldwide. Through this event, Vinpearl Luxury Landmark 81 reaffirms its status as a premier destination for events.
